I. Terms of Service for the Services Provided at the
USPTO Examiners'
Job Posting Website
1.
Your privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy
covers the online data collection and usage policies and practices by USPTO Examiner’s
Job Board applicable to the website (hereinafter the “USPTO Examiners” or “USPTO
Examiner’s website”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to information gathered
in any other fashion or to websites that we have no relationship with or control
of. USPTO Examiners is not responsible for the privacy policies, practices or actions
of such other websites to which you may link to from the USPTO Examiners’ website.
We encourage all users to review the privacy policies of any other websites visited.
2.
Please protect your private personal information by never
providing credit card, bank account or social security numbers to prospective employers.
II. Collection of Information
1.
In order to provide services, USPTO Examiners may collect
personal information, including, but not limited to, your name, contact information
(such as address, telephone number, and e-mail address), credit card number, billing
information and other identifying information.

USPTO Examiners may also collect demographic information
such as ZIP code, age, user preferences, gender, and interests.

USPTO Examiners may indirectly collect information about
you when you use certain third-party services available on the USPTO Examiners’
website.

USPTO Examiners may also collect information about your
use of USPTO Examiners, such as what web pages you visit and what services you use,
and information about your computer hardware and software. This information may,
include, without limitation, IP addresses (which identifies the location of your
computer on the internet), domain name/page URLs, type of computer browser, time
of access and referring websites.

USPTO Examiners will collect and store resume and cover
letter information if you choose to store such information. We may collect information
that you submit, such as feedback or comments, or that you post on our Job Board,
resume, or job post services. Please do not post personal information that you wish
to keep private.
III. Use of Information
1.
Although we make a good faith effort to store information
that we collect in a secure environment, we cannot guarantee that such information
is completely secure. Certain information such as resumes and job postings that
we collect may be stored in our data bases, even after its "deletion".
2.
Account information is password protected. Please keep
your passwords safe and make sure to log out when you are not using our service.
3.
We use a third-party service provider to process credit
card transactions.
4.
Search engines affiliated and not affiliated with USPTO
Examiners (i.e., Google.com, Yahoo.com, Archive.org) may archive or make available
on non- USPTO Examiners’ websites, job board, job posts, and resumes posted in publicly
accessible areas of the USPTO Examiners’ website.
5.
If you have provided your consent, you agree that we
may use the information we gather to contact you by email and other communications
with information about products or services (including, without limitation, news
letters, promotions, job opportunities and additional job postings) that we or third-parties
offer or may offer. If you provide such consent, you also agree that we may share
such information to third-parties for marketing purposes. You may chose to opt out
of receiving such communications by editing your Account settings or by contacting
us at contact@usptoexaminers.com. We may also contract users with administrative
communications from time to time.

Any feedback and comments you provide to us becomes our
property, and we can use such information for marketing purposes or to contact you
for further information.
7.
The information we collect on the USPTO Examiners’ website
may be shared with companies affiliated with USPTO Examiners in order to deliver
products and services that you have selected, including, but not limited to, searches
for job seekers or in order to undertake analysis of our database such as aggregate
profiling of our registered users.
8.
We may share aggregated anonymous information about users
of the USPTO Examiners’ website (for example, the number of visitors to any particular
area of the USPTO Examiners’ website and the web pages visited on the USPTO Examiners’
website and other websites, including third-party websites) with our clients, partners
and other third-parties for marketing and other purposes.

We may disclose user information to companies and individuals
we contract or employ to provide services on our behalf (such as web hosting services,
data analysis, marketing services, credit card payment processing, and customer
service). Such third-parties will have access to user information as necessary to
perform their services. However they may not share such information with third-parties.

Please be aware that by posting jobs and resumes you are voluntarily disclosing
personal information (such as email addresses and contact addresses) that third-parties
may collect and use. Such third-parties may use this information to contact you
with unsolicited communications for which USPTO Examiners has no responsibility.
You should not disclose any personal information that you wish to keep private.

USPTO Examiners may also disclose user information when we believe that such
disclosure is required by law. USPTO Examiners may also disclose such information
to law enforcement or others or to protect the rights, property, interests or safety
of USPTO Examiners, the general public or other users of the USPTO website, to enforce
the Terms and Conditions or to
respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties.
In addition, personal information that USPTO Examiners collects may be passed on
to third-parties in connection with a transfer of ownership or assets of USPTO Examiners
or pursuant to bankruptcy, whether voluntary or involuntary, of USPTO Examiners.

USPTO Examiners may provide services such as technology and hosting services
to third-parties to power the employment services on their websites ("Powered Sites").
Personal and other information provided by you or collected on such Powered Sites
may be stored on USPTO Examiners’ databases and such data bases used by such Powered
Sites. USPTO Examiners is not responsible for the use of such information stored
by such Powered Sites or the privacy and data protection practices of such Powered
Sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies and data protection practices
of such Powered Sites.

If you attempt to establish an account with USPTO Examiners after establishing
an account with a Powered Site, USPTO Examiners may use such account information
provided to such Powered Site to establish an account for you to use on the USPTO
Examiners’ website.
14.
Information collected by a Powered Site or on a co-branded web page may become
the property of the Powered Site or of both USPTO Examiners and such Powered Site.
IV. Disclosure of Personal Information on Resumes and
Cover Letters
1.
Your personal information may be disclosed by you by
allowing others to view your resume or submitting your resume and cover letter to
potential employers or other parties that invite the submission of resumes and cover
letters.
2.
Our resume service allows
you to store your resume in our database for use by you in applying for jobs posted
on USPTO Examiners. You should be careful in what information you provide on your
resume or cover letter that you send to potential employers. There have been instances
of scams on the internet where third-parties pose as employers to obtain information
on internet users.
3.
If you post your resume then
any parties with access to our searchable resume database will have access to your
resume. You should be careful in what information you provide on your resumes that
will be searchable by employers.
4.
USPTO Examiners is not responsible
for the use of resumes or cover letters by third-parties who access such resumes
through USPTO Examiners’ searchable resume database. You may remove your resume
or profile at anytime, however, employers, recruiters and others who have accessed
the USPTO Examiners’ searchable resume database may have kept a copy of your resume,
cover letter or profile in their own files or databases. USPTO Examiners is not
responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resumes, profiles or cover letters
so retained by such third-parties.
V. Cookies
1.
USPTO Examiners uses cookies for the convenience of our
users' and to enhance their online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed
on your computer hard drive by a web page server. Cookies are individually assigned
to a user's computer so that the web server will recognize that they have returned
to a specific web page such as login. Cookies are also used to track click streams.
2.
You may choose to not accept cookies by changing your web browser
settings. If you do so, however, certain services may not be available or function
properly.
VI. Children
The USPTO Examiners’ website is directed at adults and
is not intended for children under the age of 13. USPTO Examiners does not knowingly
collect personal information from children under the age of 13 and such persons
are strictly prohibited from using the USPTO Examiners and services

By using the USPTO Examiners’ website you acknowledge and
agree that we may use the data that we collect for the purposes identified in this

goods or services provided by USPTO Examiners on the USPTO Examiners’ website or
by third-parties.

Terms.
Additional privacy policies may apply to purchases of goods
and services and other uses of portions of the USPTO Examiners’ website, and you
